I had two reunion dinners today, actually the first one is like a mini reunion lunch. For every year's reunion dinner, I could already predict what dishes are there. However, they were just as tasty every year. I guess it is the extra ingredient that made them so tasty: kinship and warmth. I really like reunion dinner, I just like the feeling of the whole family, together with your relatives squeezing around the dining table. Everybody were chit chatting, eating happily. I think my grandma will always be the most happy person. Every year she would see her children and grandchildren grow up, seeing how her children had grown and had their own families.
Nobody would really bother the taste of the dishes, what really bother them is the feeling of bring together. Nowadays, it is really hard to have the whole family to sit together for a dinner, so we should really treasure the annually reunion dinner.
