First day of work today, quite tiring at the start but later was fine. Our job was to deliver the ang pows to the people who ordered. Some of them ordered like 20,000 or even one with 40,000. We went to the standard chartered building and deliver to all levels. There were so many orders, from level one to level eleven. One box consist of 500 ang pows and we had like 230 plus boxes. Carrying those boxes made me feel that ang pows were not light at all, they are heavy, real heavy. However, we had fun delivering, pushing the trolley, asking people to sign the paper. We then sat at the back of the lorry which was our main transportation. The feeling of sitting behind a lorry is just great, extremely cooling, especially when it is at the highway.
We wrapped up our day with a very satisfying meal not in some restaurant, but a hawker centre. The food satisfaction you get from a hawker centre is better than any other top-grade restaurants.
I laughed at myself today because while walking home, I missed a step and went into the drain! Lucky there were only kh and hong otherwise I would be very embarrassed. We were talking while I thought there was a cover over the drain, due to my extreme carelessness and clumsiness, I fall into the drain and had quite a lot of scratches on my leg and knee. The first response after I fell was a long string of profanities. A 17-year-old fell into a drain while talking with friends, what a joke!
Tomorrow is going to be another tough day, aaron told me the building we are going to deliver has more than 40 storeys, oh my god!
