HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!
Today was really a great day, it is our nation's birthday! I went to watch the parade at marina with my family and cousins because my dad got like 8 tickets. It was really really packed at the mrt station, it is like a sea of people with red shirts. When we came out from the train, there was this announcement, "the station is overcrowded can those that are not taking the trains, please leave the station". So this announcement went on and on. We followed the people and walked and found out that we took the long way!
One word to describe the parade, awesome! Every single part is just so interesting. Firstly, there was the pds performance, a great combination with the band. Their coordination was simply perfect, nice dressing throughout and their moves were very precise, they ended off with a 1.5 jumbo. Cool! Later was the march in by the different contingents. I guess the best parts of the parade were the black knights performance and the fireworks. Black knights were damn cool! Especially with its speed, 2000km/h and they did lots of stunts and the best was the close range cross over. The fireworks was really the best ever seen as compared to the past. Much more vibrant, more patterns and much more spectacular.
After the show, we went to kovan to eat, I didnt know that kovan is a food palace. So many types of food, had one of the best supper ever.
