THE ESPRESSO COUNTER
Today was the first day working in great world city, the store was not as big as I expected it will be. However, the espresso counter was huge, we took the whole counter which could place two brands. I am very happy today, because I get to see edmund again after he left compass. I got to work with him again, as fun as always and I did not expect to see Leo there too. I thought he went to courts but was posted back to great world today.
Before going to work, I had the communication skills test, I did not have time to finish and what the hell are signposts? I did not study them. Then I went to compass to get my badge and tie, I told the supervisor that I need to go great world today but she was so unwilling. She said there is not enough people in compass today and if I go great world, I can dont come back to compass. What the hell? I was told to go there and this side one me to stay? I shall listen to my company decision. I was in a rush so I did not bother her and left. I took a cab down to great world which costed me $15. Lucky I did not reach too late.
Sales was kind of bad for the first few hours till like 8pm when I sold a kettle for $39. My full timer and I thought that is all for today so he went to wash all the machines. While he was washing, I managed to serve this auntie looking for one espresso. She does not seemed willing to buy because she kept asking for discount. Then the full timer came to help me because it was 9.30pm and I need to go home. He managed to persude the customer to get the most expensive espresso machine which costed $3188!! At least we have some sales to show the management. After the work, went to take the bus to orchard with edmund and leo and took the train back. I am beat tired.
