stupid customers.

On Sunday, I thought business was going to be bad but it turn out to be great except that there was not enough manpower. A lot of the staff took long off days causing the shortage of manpower, especially from the tv and av side. The customers kept asking me to go over to help when I knew nothing about the gadgets. When I took a bus home on sunday, I met this weird person. He was listening to his mp3 and started singing so loudly. Very loudly, as though he was shouting. Everyone in the bus did not bother him and started plugging their earphones into their ears.

Yesterday, I met these unreasonable customers. Firstly, it was a china couple wanting to buy a iron. They kept asking for discount. When we didn't gave them discount, they went to take a plug and ask us to give it to them free. Then the manager came out and say this is singapore, not china, there is no room for bargins. However, the couple kept on wanting for a discount so the manager could not take it and gave them the plug for free.

The second couple thought that they were so smart. There were quite a number of customers around, one of the staff went forward to that direction, so I thought she went to serve them. So I went to look at the other side of customers. Then the tv staff called me to assist the couple. When I went there, they started to open up the box of product and inspect it themselves. So I went to help them to stamp the warranty card while they were checking the product. When I went back, they said what kind of service I was giving. "Can't you help us to keep the item and stamp the card later? Is stamp the card so important?" I really want to punch the woman up, they were checking the product, how I know you check so quickly. I went to stamp the card while you were checking the item because this will save time. Can't the couple just stand in my shoes to think. They just take the salesman for granted. No wonder the government want us to improve our services, thanks to these people around.
