Happy chinese new year to everyone!
This year's chinese new year was not as fun as usual. Maybe it is because that we are growing up, not like when we were young. I preferred previous new years rather than the recent ones. Today we went to kah hwee's house for a mini gathering. Many of us turned up except for sarah and wendy. What did we do over there?
GAMBLING!
We started blackjack with each of us taking turns to be the dealer. I won quite a lot AT FIRST! About $25 for the first few round, then when we end the game, I ended with ZERO winnings. I was quite lucky actually as compared to some of them who lost quite a bit. Shawn came a little late, but he broke a record. He lost $20 in just two rounds. Everyone later called felicia mum, because she won $40++! All our money went into her hands.
Anyway, chinese new year only comes once a year so most of us was not so bother about the loss, instead most of us enjoy the fun thoughout the games. Later we went to play in safra, but there was nothing much. We wanted to play pool but there was not enough tables for us. So kenji went to challenge a small kid around 9-10 years old in pool. Guess what? Kenji lost to the kid.
Then we went for dinner in the coffeeshop. We ordered a lot of food. The crab was great, although the gravy was not so tasty, the meat was fantastic. After that, aaron suggested of going to someone's house to play and stay overnight. It was so tempting, but I could not go because I have to work tomorrow, thinking of the travelling time, I rather take a direct bus from my house, which is even faster. Somemore, they are going to zhang xiang's house which is in Tanah Merah. I wonder how long it will be travelling from Tanah Merah to Sengkang? Hope they have fun in his house although I am not able to enjoy the fun.
By the way, also hope charmaine will find her ez-link card otherwise she will have to make a new one.
