I know it is kind of late to blog but I finally got my results! I bet mrs neo must be so pleased with the results because the school did exceptionally well. We were all thrilled when the overall results was announced. For each slide, the whole level will clap and cheer so loudly and when it came to the slide of average L1R5 for each class, I was shocked. Not only me, but many of my classmates.
4B --- 10.8
Can you imagined that? 4B, the most mischievous and lousiest sec 4 class scored an average of 10.8 for L1R5. 4A is more crazy with an average of 9.7, I think. Everyone is happy because most of our effort did pay off. I think mrs neo should deserve the credit. The night classes were useful although I did not attend most of them. When I got my results, I was not as happy as the rest because my result slip was kind of ugly, 4Bs and 4As. I got 11, it is a good result and I have to congratulate everyone because all of them did so well. Well done people!
Everybody is thinking of going poly or jc. Most of them turned to jc while I stick to poly. I think that poly is the path I am most comfortable in and will excel better. I had considered going jc but it is just not my type. I do not want to return to what I did in secondary schools, forcing myself to study chemistry and other sciences when I am not using them in my future at all. Since I had my ambition, I had to add life to it and poly will be my definite choice. I applied for temasek poly's business study grouping. I really hope I can enter. For those who applied for jc, I can only wish you guys good luck and score great results, most importantly, see you guys in university. Everybody has it own choices, if you think you want it, just go ahead and excel in it so that you will not regret in the end. I know that from poly, it is difficult to enter university, but this will be the challenge for me and I will try my very best to accomplished it.
After receiving the results, we went to celebrate and played pool and darts. Later, we went to fish & co. for a great meal. There were other groups of students from many different schools celebrating just us. Although it was kind of expensive, but we just didn't care as we wanted to reward ourselves. So each of us spent $24 there, having new york fish and chips together with a soup and drink. I did not like the fish because new york fish and chips has got cheese in the fish itself. However, it was still a great meal even though big holes could be seen at out pockets.
I took a day off today partly because of the enrolment and partly because I was kind of tired. My family had reunion dinner today and went for many good food. My grandfather ordered so many dishes and we could not finished them, and forcing ourselves to finish it. However, reunion dinner is always as different from normal dinner. When everybody turned up for a dinner, you will feel different and so heartwarming. Family ties are the most precious things on earth.
Tomorrow I am going back to work and is also a new chapter of my life. An ending marks a new beginning, wish everyone good luck ahead no matter is it jc or poly. Hope everyone excels in their studies!
