I got a job!
I went to ntuc for an interview and got a job in the fresh food section. At first we went to the office and fill up the form. There were two forms, one application form and the other is a test. The test includes comprehension, mathematics and memory work. The comprehension requires you to comprehend the product label, but are some simple stuffs. Then one of the manager approached me and offer me to work in another department, but I reject at first because I thought there might be other places available. Then he approached Jon and Jon accepted the job, later he asked Junhao and he agreed also. I consider for a long time and went to find the manager again and told him I will take up the job. I was put under the fresh food section and will start working tomorrow. I have to report at 7am! It is so early but I just have to do 5 hours and I will knock off at 12pm. My job is actually very simple, just packing of products and checking the expiry date.
When I went home, toast box called me. They called at the wrong moment, if they had called earlier, I would have take up the job, but I have to reject it as I agreed to join ntuc. My team leader says she will extend my working hours when it is near the peak period. I hope to work during the peak hours as can earn more $$$. Then I went up to the second floor and saw Charmaine. She was quite short and very noticable from a far distance. She seemed quite relaxed, just standing down there, maybe because it is too early and you hardly get customers.
Tomorrow there is np chalet. I wanted to stay but because of the early reporting time, I just can't stay. I will doze off at work if I stay at the chalet.
Hope that the job will be as easy as I thought!
