For the first day, everybody seemed to be knocked out and super tired. So we slept in the bus on our way to the checkpoint. We were so tired and were like dragging our bodies into the custom. After passing the Singapore customs, we proceed back to the bus and reach Malaysia. At the Malaysia, we took another bus and started to sleep again. Just when everyone were sleeping so soundly, a loud bang sound struck. It woke all of us up, then we saw smoke coming out from Shawn's seat. It was so smelly, then everybody got down the bus and some of us help the rest to bring the bags down. We were stuck in the middle of the highway with trees by the sides. So we waited under the sun for 2 hours for another bus to drive us there. We were so bored and many of us just pluck the grass and throw. Finally as the bus arrived, everyone were delighted and went back to sleep. The journey to the resort was so long, about 8 hours!
As we reached the resort, it did not seemed as nice as the pictures on the website. At first, we were supposed to have 4 people per room. However, due to overbooking of rooms, we were transferred to dormitories where it could accommodate 8 people per room. We thought that the rooms were not very pleasant, but when we sleep at night, it was just as comfortable. Our first activity was the night confidence walk through the jungle. We minimised the use of torch lights and tried to feel the darkness. We saw many types of animals and plants. As we walked, I was so irritated with the thorns as they cut my skin.
The second day we had two water activities. One was white water rafting and the other was bamboo rafting. White water rafting was rather boring because we tried that last year and the rapids this year was comparatively lesser. However, the fight between the sec4s and the two teachers was really fun. Everybody was so exhausted after the fight. We were no match for Mr Jain and Mr Hazmi. As we run towards them, they just throw us to the sides. Next was bamboo rafting. I think this was the least interesting activity during the trip. At first, we had to tie the bamboo poles to the rubber floats then we had a race. My group won in both competition, the race and also the tug-of-war. We then went back to the resort watch soccer. We requested for shopping as it was not included in the itinerary. So we had one on the third day.
From the third day onwards, the trip seemed to reached its climax. Firstly, we went to the orphanage to interact with the children there. I was quite surprised when I saw their performances, they were so independent and daring to perform in front of so many people. We got a warm welcome from the villages and personals there. We then proceed for the cave exploration and 4-wheel drive. 4-wheel drive could be the highlight of the trip. We were separated into groups and each group was assigned a jeep. We stand at the back of the jeep and started the thrilling ride. The jeep was travelling so fast as we entered the uneven roads through the jungle and reach the waterfall. Along the way, I got slapped many times by the branches and leaves. Then we reached the waterfall and had a swim there. The water there was so freaking cold. I only swim for a short while then came up. Then we took the 4-wheel drive back, the experience was so different because it started to rain and it was so painful as the rain droplets hit my body. Then we went for shopping. We thought we will go to a shopping but instead they brought us to a supermarket. We were quite disappointed and did not buy anything.
As we got back, we had dinner and slept at 10pm because the teacher wanted us to sleep early. Then the teachers woke us up at around 3am to punish us. It has been a long time since I had done pumpings. The sec 4s then realised that our discipline was slacken. On the last day, we had paintball. It was really fun but it was quite pain when it hits your head. Then we went to a Malacca shopping mall and was given 1 hour for shopping. We used the time to search for a good meal. However, the food took a long time to be prepared so we packed them up and eat it on the bus. We had the worst experience eating on bus. We spilled one of the drinks and one of the plastic was torn. The floor was so dirty and we spent a lot of time cleaning up to prevent the bus driver to see the mess. The food was nice but the place was not nice at all. Throughout the trip, many people were sick. Most had a stomachache and vomit. I hope all of them will get well soon.
On the last day on bus, we had a lot of fun as we interacted with the sec 2s and 3s. We created this NPCC family which was quite lame but fun.

I just came back from Malaysia on Tuesday. For the first two days, it may not seemed to be so fun. However, on the third and last day, everyone starts to interact with each other and had more fun. We became quite close to the sec 2s and 3s.
