Today I woke up so early in the morning to go to my grandma's house. Usually, I go on the afternoon but I need the afternoon to study. I spent my time doing e.maths at my grandma's house, about 3 hours and it was quite productive. Then my grandma gave me a stack of red packets. One was from her and the rest were from my uncles and aunties. I didn't know why she gave me the red packets, a moment later I realised that those were for my birthday. Time passes really fast, I am going to be a 16 year old teenager and my birthday is just on this coming Sunday. I don't think there is any special or whatever because my birthday is the most boring one. Besides the annual red packets, there wasn't any other stuffs. So I usually treat my birthday just like any other days.
However, this year's is very special because my birthday is in the midst of the exams. I guess I will be just rushing my biology and social studies on that day. What a boring one, but when you get older, you will hardly bother about birthdays, especially for guys.
Today I actually spent the whole afternoon going through the essay book and memorising some useful words and phrases. I had learnt words like, "oppression", "inclination", "permeated", "wince" and so on. Maybe to many people out there, these words are nothing, but they are like strangers to me. For the sake of o levels, I just memorise them. After tomorrow, English will not be a burden to me anymore.
