RAYSLIGHTS.BS (2009)
Today was a very meaningful yet tiring day. I am like so tired today after walking around and standing for such a long time. My legs are aching now, but it does worth it. Today is the day that I officially passed out from NPCC. I waited for a long time for today, a large burden just dropped off me. In the morning, we collected our ranks and badges. Although it was quite late giving us the badges on our last parade, we still won't mind as long as we have them. The number of recipients was so many that we stood on for about 1 hour. Our legs really ached.
After that, we procceed to the AVT for the prize giving. Every sec 4s recieved a plague as a token of appreciation. This year's design was rather stylish as compared to those usual common designs. It was quite sad actually as I missed those wonderful cadets, they might not be very good in drills or whatever, but the friendship I had with them was memorable. Never will I think that I will walk this far, from sec 1 till now, undergoing various torture and trainings. I have now became a better person, more daring, more confident, more fit and also more determined. When I went home, I arranged my badges and framed them up. I kept looking at them, at some moment I was quite surprised that I could achieved that much. Every badge represented my every accomplishment, this pose as a drive to motivate me in accomplishing better goals and targets.
I will never forget all these wonderful memories. Thank you squadmates, cadets and NP.
