Today was our day for the performance. We met at 10am for bowling, but when we reached there, most of us decided not to play because of the price. $5 for a game is too expensive so we went to the arcade. We went and played two games of Daytona. It was not challanging enough, I got 1st for both the games. It is kinda boring...haha..joking.
We reached the All Saints Home at around 11.50am and we began training. We trained until about 1pm and we went for a lunch break. When we came back, we got our new SPDS performing shirt. It was very nice, nicer than we ever thought. It is all-black and it is a long-sleeved shirt. The material for the shirt is very cooling and it suits us all.
We stayed at the waiting room and waited for our performance. At around 4.50pm, we were called out for our performance. I was quite nervous. I was the first guy standing in the center and everyone was looking at me. Then, we marched in and began our performance.
We were doing very fine, no mistakes at all, but just as we were proceeding to the exciting part, one rifle just landed beside me with a heavy thud. The rifle dropped to the floor and the sound was loud. I was shocked but carried on my drills. Everything went fine then, not much mistakes. I was quite calm and relaxed when towards the end. It was really a good experience for me.
Now, I had finished one performance. I still got another one which is on the 27th and 28th of Dec. It will be near Tampines Mall, where there is a big xmas tree. I hoped the performance there will be a nice and perfect one.
